2008 Google Global Community Scholarship for the Grace Hopper Conference

Google announces the 2008 Google Global Community Scholarship to help students attend the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference at the Keystone Resort, Colorado on October 1-4,2008. Conference details can be found at www.gracehopper.org .  A group of female students outside of the USA will be chosen from the applicant pool. Each selected student will receive up to $2,500 USD for airfare, hotel, conference registration and other travel requirements.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates must be:

• Enrolled full-time in their undergraduate or graduate study in a university outside of the United States
• In Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field major
• Maintaining a strong academic background with demonstrated leadership ability
