Reusable Learning ObjectsA series of RLOs to support the teaching and learning of key introductory concepts in Database SystemsDatabases are a fundamental area of study in information and computer sciences courses. Lack of understanding of basic concepts related to data modelling and database analysis and design have a negative impact on student understanding of more complex topics which in turn hinders student achievement. These reusable learning objects are for supporting the teaching of basic concepts in the field of database systems and for enhancing the learning experience. They cover Entity-relationship models, Cardinality, Determinacy and Normalisation.
