Student CentralA site dedicated to proving Information and computing students with relevant, up to date information on topics such as career prospects, accommodation, events and competitions. External examiners databaseICS is hosting a database of external examiners and potential external examiners in the Information and Computer Science disciplines. LimesLIMES Library and Information Management Employability Skills is a major two year curriculum development project. LIMES aims to facilitate skills development by creating learning and teaching materials, that reflect current employability skills in the Library and Information Management sector, and embed them in the curriculum. Pilot Question BankThis is a pilot repository of Computer Science and Informatics questions. Currently there are over one thousand questions on a variety of topics available for download and re-use. Feedback on both the usability and value of the resources would be greatly appreciated. Pilot Comment BankThe Centre for Information and Computer Sciences is interested in creating a set of statements that could be used by academic staff during their marking of dissertations. This comment bank would offer a wide range of statements for use in the creation of feedback or for incorporation into the report forms used as part of the marking process. Open Educational Repository in Support of Computer ScienceThis project ran from April 2009 to April 2010. It was part of a wider initiative funded by the JISC (Joint Information Systems Committee) and the HEA, to showcase UK Higher Education by encouraging teachers within HE institutions to publish excellent teaching and learning resources openly on the web. |
