Opportunities for Students from Microsoft

Microsoft Student Excellence Award
The Microsoft Award for Student Excellence recognises and rewards the most outstanding final year project developed by an undergraduate using Microsoft tools and technology. This is the second year for this award and nominations are now open until 9th June 2006.

Imagine Cup 2007
The theme for the 2007 World-wide Imagine Cup (to be held in Seoul, Korea) will be "Imagine a world where technology enables a better education for all..." Further information and expressions of interest can be lodged at http://www.imaginecup.co.uk. Also available on the site are videos from the final this year - showcasing what its like to get involved, team tips, what the judges think, how academics perceive the event and what last years winners are up to etc.

Student Representative Programme
The Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) Programme is an annual award that recognises people who have made an outstanding contribution to the student technical community.

The MSP Programme is designed to help students who are passionate about IT and want to develop their skills to get the most out of Microsoft Software and be even more successful when they leave university and enter the IT industry.
