HEA-ICS student competition (closes 28 March)

The 2009 HEA-ICS student competition invites students to express their views on: "Who or what was the inspiration for choosing your current course of study?". To enter the competition students should write a 1,000-word essay or record a five-minute podcast/vidcast on the inspiration for choosing their course.

The winner will receive an Apple iPod Touch and have their essay/recording presented on the Information and Computer Sciences Subject Centre website and will be invited to attend the Higher Education Academy 2009 Annual Conference in University of Manchester, June 30-July 2, all expenses paid.
