The Higher Education Academy Subject Centre for Information and Computer Science's 2008 Annual Conference will take place from Tuesday 26th to Thursday 28th August 2008, at  the Liverpool Hope University.

The ICS Subject Centre would like to offer an Information & Library Studies / Science (ILS) strand at this years conference and, alongside the general call for papers, we would like to encourage contributions from the ILS communities on a number of related topics. Submissions for papers, workshops and posters are welcomed.

These topics are:

  • Integrating Research Methods into the curriculum
  • Teaching of Knowledge Management
  • Groupwork and collaborative learning in ILS
  • Computer aided assessment for ILS
  • The student placement experience
