Welcome

Approximately 100 people, including delegates from 40 institutions across the UK attended the Higher Education Academy's eighth Annual Conference at the University of Southampton from Tuesday 28th August 2007 to Thursday 30th August 2007.

The conference themes this year included First Year Experiences, Research, Teaching Nexus, Transition into HE, Programming, Learning Objects and Challenges in Teaching and Assessment.

These themes were explored in 32 sessions delivered by UK and international specialists.
