The major outcome of this project are a cryptography workbench and associated supporting materials. The major aim is that this can be taken to and/or used in schools to facilitate an understanding of applied computing per se; rather than ongoing familiarity with personal productivity tools. Various initiatives within the HE computing community have identified the need for resources such as this to give school students a more realistic introduction to computing and so reverse the decline in HE students studying within the computing disciplines.
